The Basics of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

Sunday, March 7th, 2010

You cannot just practise SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) without some experience or information to go on. The better information you have to go on will mean the better you are at optimizing your websites content for good search engine results & rankings. I have some tips and tricks you can use to get started on your SEO adventure and for the best results I’d suggest finishing off your website prior to submitting it to search engines, so no incompleted websites or content would be acceptable.

1. One of the best tips many SEO professionals will give you is to not stuff your content with keywords you’re trying to target, but instead place the recommended amount of keywords which is around the 4% – 7% of your websites content – so the more content you have will result in more keywords according to the percentage.

2. Make good use of the heading tag. Insert a reasonable amount of keywords you’re trying to target with the obvious phrases and descriptions.

3. Choose your keywords carefully. There is no chance in this world you’re going to get to the top of page one on Google if you’re attempting to target highly competitive keywords such as “Coding” – but instead use more realistic keywords and phrases such as “Coding tutorials” or “Easy coding tutorials” and then in the long run who knows you may well be a big competitor to others for the keyword “Coding” as an example.

4. Many Search Engine Optimisation experts will tell you that content is king. If you do not have sufficient content (being content that is well written and uses your keywords wisely) then you’ll not get very far when looking to get increased rankings.

5. Back links are very important and should be worked on day in day out if you’re to rank highly for competitive search terms. The most highly ranked websites often have thousands of back links which ranks them well in big search engines. A good place to get started when building links is to submit to website directories and blogs.

Babies Showing Signs Of Group B Strep Require Treatment Immediately

Sunday, March 7th, 2010

Infants suffering from a group b streptococcus infection at the outset are likely to present with symptoms which are non-specific for GBS. This is a reason why physicians need to consider it as a differential diagnosis when symptoms that might due to a group b strep Infection are present in a child. Several medical malpractice claims have resulted from a doctor’s failure to do this and parents whose infant was harmed under a similar situation need to seek the advice of a birth injury lawyer right away.

For example, in one reported case a pediatrician who examined a 6 week old infant having a high fever failed to take a complete history from the mother and did not make an effort to review the prenatal chart which indicated that the mother had tested positive for GBS during the pregnancy. The phycisian therefore based her plan to wait on giving any antibiotics to the child until she could get back test results on incomplete data. Without| the vital item of data the statistics indicated that the baby’s signs were from something else. Consequently the infant became septic, developed meningitis and experienced strokes. This left her with mental retardation and seizures which are not treatable with medication. The parents pursued a malpractice case and the law firm that handled the matter reported it as settled for $6.15 Million.

You should check with a doctor immediately if you think your infant has a health issue and check with a medical negligence lawyer if you believe your infant was damaged from a mistake by a doctor or other well being care professional.

What Exactly Is Dyslexia?

Sunday, March 7th, 2010

Dyslexia was virtually unknown, unrecognized and certainly not understood up until around twenty-five years ago. Almost all that we know about the condition has been learned fairly recently.

Dyslexics learn differently. Their eyes see objects the same way but their brains interpret the signals from the eyes differently than those of non-dyslexics. It’s O.K., many famous and successful people have been dyslexic. But to reach their total potential they have to be taught differently, in accordance with their individual needs.

For a little more than 15 years now, elementary schools have routinely screened for learning abilities dyslexia. For more information on this subject, Click Here. Any child who had problems with reading was selected to go through full-scale professional testing for dyslexia followed by individual evaluation.

Before about 15 years ago, dyslexics were lumped in with the rest of the students and had to take their chances. Most were treated badly by the educational system, called lazy, slow learners, underachievers. They were made to feel ashamed of and embarrassed by their differences and learned to conceal them.

Millions of adult dyslexics today have never taken a dyslexia test. They still struggle with learning and reading difficulties that could be easily overcome if they were only known. A half-hour dyslexia test could make enormous improvements in their self-esteem and abilities.

There are a large number of different types of dyslexia to deal with. There is no standard definition, no real, workable way to sort them out into types and put them into nice, neat categories. Each one is different and needs to be evaluated and taught accordingly.

For as yet undiscovered adult dyslexics a test for dyslexia could be a life-changing experience! Once diagnosed the dyslexic person can be helped, taught how to overcome his or her dyslexic problems and reach their full personal potential.
