Have you heard of this?
Tuesday, March 9th, 2010There’s an old saying:
“Those who fail to plan, plan to fail.”
Have you heard this before?
The reason I ask is since quite a few organization owners, I talk with, are completely frustrated with the declining sales and earnings that’s occurring within their businesses, yet they feel like they have no control over helping their situations.
However, when I ask them what their current marketing and advertising approach looks like, they give me a blank stare and say, “What advertising prepare?”
Can you see the issue?
By creating a sold advertising and marketing strategy, and writing it down into a structured planned process for increasing sales, and income, there is an almost immediate result as far as improving earnings for a small business.
What is usually a advertising and marketing approach exactly?
Basically it is often a written blueprint of what methods and steps is going to be used to promote and market specific elements of the small business to your target market.
The secret to a successful advertising and marketing approach, is identifying exactly how you might take a prospect / new customer, and transition them into a paying customer / client.
By mapping out this approach, you’ll not only see higher ROI for your marketing and advertising efforts, but you’ll also be able to identify where the “profit leaks” in your advertising and marketing are, and stop them…
This results in less wasted marketing and advertising, and increased income!
That’s the easy version of creating a marketing plan, but you get the idea. By producing and implementing a written marketing plan, you can be far ahead of the competition who is not!
Such plans ought to also be created for any marketing campaigns, advertisements, events, etc. to identify (PRIOR to the marketing) what actions you plan to transition any leads generated into paying customers.
